It it PSA tape or heat seal? Every machine I have ever used has trouble with PSA cover tape. I wish they would ban in in ROHS. 3M tells me it is the future and it will replace heat seal tape.

Is there any method or machine that i can use to check glue size. I need to check 90% of the bottom side pcb area that have 200 glue point within 15 to 30 sec.

FYI: This seems to be worse depending on the oven....I think it may have to do with the way the machine exhaust. I have used the Fuchs on our Omniflow and on our XPM's.(Pb Free profiles) The Omniflow stinks the whole shop up....the Vitronics do not s

I second that with the used market. They are flooded with machines out there just look for the best deal and make sure your covered under a warranty.

Hi PPM! Have your stencil house mark fid with laser machine - that how we use to have fid mark once it marked with laser it last very long time like stencil's life. Good luck! Steve USA STENCILS INC

That depends what SMT machines you have. We use the same fiducial mark like in this standard and works fine every time.

I've done V score that thin, but it takes some doing. Using a twin linear knife type machine. In quantity this seems like a perfect job for laser, though.

According to the manuals there is a 2D solder paste inspection mode on these machines. If anyone is using this option, please share the setup details. Thanks

We have 2 Mirtec AOI's in our plant and can say they are very easy to use and are work horses. Great machines for the price.
