Just wondering what criteria you used to come up with Junki? Direct experience? Last I checked Juki had the lowest annual spare parts costs of the major suppliers. Not what I'd call junk.

We had alot of problem with melf diode short together after reflow soldering. The clearance is about 0.8mm & we used "v" shaped opening . PLease comment !

After reflow, Are the end terminals of the melf packages touching or is it a paste bridge? What type of reflow are you using? IR?... Convection?

Inernal use only, mainly for test fall out. We have a 3"x4" tag that gets attached. This tag identifies reason for fail and follows the brd until it is repaired, the tag is then removed and info is logged under the assy p/n & serial number.
