Be careful if you use Ni/Au. The "black pad" phenomenum can be crippling. We moved from Ni/Au to OSP because of it. I also don't want to return to the lack of flatness of HASL.

Stuart, Quad Systems had something like that a few years ago with "Smart Feeders". I do not know how reliable it is or was, but it might be a starting point.

Jeff, We do not use push up pin. The nozzle pick-up and placement heights are checked many times. We are looking for wich component can break the nozzles. Thanks for your help, Jeff.
