High temp grease needed

The NMG No Melt is what I currently use. I hadn't thought of replacing it with an oil. Will try it and see how it goes. Thanks for the replies.

Is there any way to degauss the crt monitor on a Fuji CP6 machine ? I think we had someone put a magnet on one of our displays. Thnx, Sr.

As Rohs parts with lead free solders dont wet as well your operator may be mistaking this for oxidisation. there is also the posibility that the parts are manufactured with HMP solder (92.5% lead) also rosh complient but the solder dose oxidise.

Stencil Cleaning / Zestron / Vigon

Is there anyone out there using Zestron Vigon SC200 stencil cleaning solution? We were told that it can be used to clean SMT adhesive, water soluble, and no clean paste flux. Can anyone tell me anything about this stuff ?

SEM to determine thickness and spectrum analyses to determine the metals forming the IMC. This will give you everything you would want to know.

Optical microscope or SEM work fine. You say, "I have found out that the method of measuring intermetallic compound(IMC) formation is quite questionable." What's the issue?

That is what I was looking for. The profiles did not make much sense to me. We are getting alot of cold solder joints or bumpy solder joints.

Well that Genius did it on this BGA. It does have a heatsink and absorbs alot of heat. It just stinks because the BGA cost over 1000 and I really can not scrap a board. But that first profile does not look correct for this board with the BGA esp.

Thanks to all. I have it straightened out. We were running too hot and too fast and too long of a reflow time. I am running with Kic2000 and it works great. Thanks for all your input.
