We have a problems with soldering in the PCB in the Solder Wave process. Our pcbs are failures in the solder (voids) in the throughole components. The main problems is in varistor components. what are the soluctions to problems? tks

Humidity, Juliano? Try drying the boards pre solder; oven or dry storage cabinet. If this works, Eureka has good desiccant dry storage cabinets, http://www.atekllc.com. Shean Dalton www.fhpreps.com

What kind of voids? There are voids from out gassing (moisture) and voids from contamination and or poor solder ability ? If it is on one component I would look at the part. Also if it a big Varistor make sure the board is preheated properly.

Look at your fluxer as well (spray or foam?). You may not be getting ample flux over certain areas of the board. This can cause voids.

I guess the problems are about humidity. How much time before production we need to store in Dry Unit? We have the SD532-31 SUPER DRY gabinet and we will use to store the PCBs. Thank you for your answer.

The Fuji CP6 and QP242 should be more than capable of placing 0402(cp6) and bga components (QP242). You must be having some programming difficulties.
