Hello Mikey, I am curious, why did you send your board out for manufacturing? Why didn't you build the prototype yourself?

Hello all, I am looking to move my prototype line (My600, Iineo II, Heller 9 zone oven) approximately 5 miles within Michigan (Detroit area). I am looking for suggestions for reputable companies. Thanks!

We used Precision installation and services to fully pack up and ship our full SMT, Select Solder and Final Assy equipment from Novi, MI to Mexico. They were very thorough, detailed and we were very happy with the care they took with our equipment.

No problem. Good Luck. Just from experience, make sure you lock down all of your gantries inside the equipment. Even though these guys are experienced riggers they don't know the nuances of SMT equipment.

From what I have seen it will be based on thickness, material and usage. Sometimes will be product dependent if the you have a marginal process. We used to change stencils every 2-3weeks for a high runner. Other than that follow Sr.Tech's advice.

We changed monthly on lines where we were doing 1500 print cycles+ per day, but on low runners we could use a stencil for 10 years+. As previously mentioned it depends on how you treat it.

These new inline washers are cleaning so great now. There will be no flux to hold these solder balls at all. However, experts here might help you to get rid of the solder balls in process. so you don't have to clean.

Hi, For the invisible nano coating, do we have any rapid method to determine nano coating worn out on stencil.

What sort of nano coating? The coatings that aren't snake oil tend to have a color to it. The other ones are typically wipe on and seem like a waste of time to me.

We are planning on installing an SMT Line in our building. We own 75% of the building, there is a crossfit gym next door and they tend to drop weights where we can feel the vibration. Should we be concerned with the SMT Line being set up on that end
