Try this: * Run the board through your reflow oven set for a "normal" recipe, but with the cooling section turned off. * Pick the BGA from the board while the solder is still liquid using tweezers [or similar tool].

Isn't this what they call "supply and demand" law? mucho demand + low supply = higher price? I never could understand it, but since nobody questions why the systems works this way, what is there to do?

Have you tried someone like KOSTAT? It looks to me like they probably already have trays in just about every configuration. at least 90% of our trays come from them. www.kostat.com Russ
