Even though we can't comment on that specific part, you're correct. If the solderability protection on the terminations is not symetrical, it could result in tombstoning. We used to see this alot in smaller components, where the plating did not compl

Also plating type can be an issue have seen trouble with silver paladium parts made be EPCOS (Varistors) in past in LF soldering....
