If you're having trouble with a specific board, double check your Pattern, Diameter, Color and Scan Area under the 'Mark Data' tab. You can also try setting the Pitch Tolerance to '0' in the machine configuration. Good Luck, Bill

When our IP-II did strange things we would do a reset start. This fixed a lot of odd behavior. Jerry

Yes, we are looking at using it for our solder paste. The customer mentioned wants us to test our boards and initially we've heard the SAC105 is better for "higher mechanical stressed" assemblies. Thanks for your reply!!

What pattern programming utility do you have, or do you have one at all?

My point is that the only contributions I've ever seen you make on this site are to recommend that product, and you've done it quite regularly. It looks to me like trying to sell product is exACTly what you're doing.

If you like I can email you a portion of our programming procedure. We also use Cad2Cad, although we have a Topaz, not a Topaz-X.

I got mine from the Assembleon sales rep. It was free so I wonder if you contact Assembleon if they will send you a copy. They may only do it if you register your machine with them though and I don't know if there is acost associated with that.
