You say that there is no green solder mask around the lands of the BGA only silk screen. If that is the case I would be concerned about the solderabilty of the component if the silk screen gets onto the pads. The application of solder mask is much mo

Are there any Siplace users out there that have any experience of the latest "smart feeders" for X series (version 3 I think, with built in handle and LED´s instead of LCD display) I am specifically interested to get input on any issues experienced w

When ever I did an autotune the machine would start at 100F on all three zones, then after a long time it would bump up to 200F and finally 300F. It takes forever but eventually it would complete the tune process and be ready to enter work mode.

Thanks, Tom. I'll post with my results. It's been running for 2-1/2 hours now at the 100F setpoint. I may need to re-start the tuning tomorrow morning, since I don't want to leave it running at the higher temperatures overnight.

I just purchased a MyData SMT machine that requires 3 phase 208V. I have 240 single phase with a 3 phase power converter that outputs 240V 3 phase. Should I be concerned about the differences in voltages and if so how should I solve this issue.

Is anyone running 36in or larger boards thru SMT?

Sounds like you want to buy a custom made SMT machine.. Your re-flow would be a nightmare to program. most of the machines ive seen have a maximum working footprint of 29.5" and that is deemed an "option" so not standard for the machine capability.
