Can anyone give me any information on the longivity of titanium insert wave pallets. What I am looking for is the integrity of thin walls over several hundred cycles and the interface between the insert and the durostone material.

I don't think that you would need to test these. Have you ever seen any evidence of solder sticking to them? We use the same material and never notice anything besides flux staying on the bottom. Would the lead absorption if any even be of a concer

we use welders gloves with cuffs. there are some other heat gloves out there as well, we like the durability of leather though Russ

As long as your operator is grounded, a pair of welders gloves is fine. The leather kind do not build up static and do last a while. If the same pair of gloves is being used for dedrossing the wave, pay special attention to loose fitting gloves. I

This might be a trival mundane suggestion but try to use non conductive plate to hold components. Probably even made of the pallet material. I am sure your pallet fabricator will have tons of scrap and he can help you find one. T
