Hello Antonio ASPECT RATIO = the ratio of one dimension to another as in the ratio of the thickness of a stencil to the width of the aperture. For instance, a 10 mil aperture in a 5 mil stencil will have an aspect ratio of 2. This is aperture width

Looking at the original post, it seems that the white residue is formed on the board after wave soldering and becomes evident when it has been left standing for a while. From what I understand, it seems that the solids content of the "no clean" flux

John, I hope your figures or numbers are part of your SPC process. Our management loves this stuff. I think the production line, world class or not would reflect the attitude of the people working on it(keep that between you and me) management does

Good morning, All: I am from PCB shop and one of our customer is experiencing solder bridge on 16 mil pitch QFP( immersion gold finish). Land width requirement is 8 +/- 1 mil measured over top of of land and our mean is 7 mil. Bottom land width is 8

At my last place of employment, that was the big reason why nobody (especially the Design Engineers) bought into a no-clean process - interference with high-impedance circuits. One guy was so paranoid about flux residues remaining on the board, that

It realy depends on what no-clean you use, I had on that would get under IC's and not get fully activated it was fine here in the states but when it was shipped over seas the salt air and humidity gave us fits, another we used didnt have that problem

Hi ya'll!! We've got some PCB's in receiving inspection that has these little nodules in plating inside all of the barrels. These are microwave PCB's and have almost all of the surface area on both sides covered with with solid metal planes, and no
