What core size are you using with the solder wire? I would recommend that you use a "66". It is very helpful to get the area hot prior to adding the solder.

Chris As you imply, testing board and component solderability prior to assembly is preferred. * ANSI/J-STD-002 - Solderability Tests for Component Leads, Terminations, Lugs, Terminals, and Wires * ANSI/J-STD-003 - Solderability Tests for Printed Boa

Try: * A-610D, 6.3 Wire / Lead Preparation - Tinning * J-STD-001D, [There is probably something. We'll look later.]

Alternatives are: * DSCC Columbus continues to maintain the QPL for MIL-I-46058C. [Engineering is unlikely to change.] * Use International Electrotechnical Commission Standard, IEC 61086 - Coatings for loaded printed wire boards (conformal coatings)

Oh you mean like the no heat soldering irons? I think they can also cook you a pizza while soldering wires.

why not just try to move the sensors and re-wire the motor to run the opposite direction......i wouldnt think thats toooooo difficult?????

Over Current means the motor is drawling too much current. Check for a jam on that axis, bad wire, bad motor, bad servo amp (yes the amp can go bad and make it appear that the motor is drawling too much current). Jerry

Thanks dude. There was a broken wire in the big cable. You couldn't tell at a glance, but a very slight tug popped it out. I have it rewired and up and running now. Thanks again.
