Yes, Did this in daily production while back when I work @ motorola. Because of tall...and won't seat in the shuttle. We were set it in the MPAV and GSM machine. (2 diff lines)

The Ersa Power Tool does an awsome job and has a very large selection of tips. Keep in mind that the larger the tip the more stored energy. The Waveroom Plus in Londonderry NH sold us our Power tool and we tried everything nothing else worked. Good L

Ask your supplier for a corrective active and failure analysis of the boards. In parallel, send the boards to a failure analysis laboratory to determine the material on your gold pads. Take your work to another supplier.
