OOps, to quick on the draw. If you have the CAD data for you fids I'll bet if you input those numbers (not teach on the machine) they'll work. Do you teach your globals the same way?

By the way: I've also used the corner pads as if they were locals. You can take a bitmap-picture of the pattern, store it and refer to it as a fiducial. Works great and you're sure they don't wander all over the place w.r.t. to the component's XY.

aj, Did you have to implement a pre-bake operation prior to SMT? Or did the new batch work just fine with your current process? Just curious if we should be implementing a pre-bake process, or keep pushing on our supplier...or both. Thanks, Mark

The squegee blades on the machine won't move down to level whenever I make a program. It has a standard head. I can jog them manually in calibrate mode but when I try to make a program they don't work. Why?

If there is a tactile sensor on this machine, make sure the switch works properly (view input test screen while pushing plunger in and out) and clean/oil the plunger.

There are always work-arounds to these types of problems. But in this case this limitation is most likley a safety feature. I would not recommend defeating a safety feature that could result in your factory burning to the ground.
