Every plant I've worked at used copper. I don't know your criteria for better, but I would think soldering and hanging copper would be a lot easier/quicker than threading and hanging iron. I haven't priced either one, though.

d0min0: I will try to email you the file from this site. Sometimes SMTNet's email utility does not work. Or, try to email me directly: samirpaperjam@gmail.com

Thanks - We ended up using a kapton stencil mainly due to the fact that we couldn't get time on the SMT lines. It worked great, protected the vias and the BGA functions fine.

Ron, I'm not sure what you are trying to get here. If you want a real price you need to submit RFQ's to some CM's to get real price. As mentioned there are many variables to account for and no single number works across the board. -Jerry

Peter, GO TEST YOUR SMALL X-MOTOR IN THE SERVICE PROGRAM !!!!!! Do not start changing parameter files ! I assume that your machine worked fine at one time with the original parameter file.

Yuppers. Back in the "late '90s" at my last company, we, too, used loctite's chipbonder with our GDM positive displacement pump. It works okay for that application.

We've used the Loctite as well. We're currently using Heraeus 955. It's worked well, and it's is less expensive. John S.

Hi Huss, Didn't you notice the names, "D Back" and "D Wanzek"? Pretty typical way to start a convo and make it work for yourself.
