As Steve said do not re-refrigerate. You can also take the paste out early. We remove enough paste from the refrigerator for a full days work around noon the day before we use it. Jerry

SMT adhesive works great! We actually cut stencils to print adhesive in between areas that always solder short over wave. It's the perfect solder resist. Change a customers board? I thought only Satin could do that?

Im guessing your using a PSA? We have had very little luck with this method of attachment as a standalone.Works great if you are using clips. I would suggest you look into a thermal adhesive.

I have never frozen solder paste so I'm not sure if it will work. Our paste manufacturer does caution against freezing of the paste but do not say why. Jerry

Does anyone have any contact info. for affordable custom tube feeder setup for a FUJI QP3 Machine ?? I have already tried Component Express. Although their application would work it is just too big for us.

We use a "McDry" cabinet for humidity control of opened, moisture sensitive parts. Relatively cheap and works good. This cabinet is installed right on the SMT line. Check out: http://www.seikausa.com/products/mcdry/

could there have been a solderablity issue with that pad to begin with, allowing the flux in (from improper cleaning of adjacent work) to expadite an error may have happened later down the road?

Has anyone here had direct experience using this oven for Lead Free? I am considering purchasing one, but I want to be certain it will handle low volume lead free work. Pete

One of my co-workers told me he worked at a place that used a UV cure mask. They screen printed the mask then UV cured it. Then they assembled the baords. He doesn't remember the brand of the mask.

Hi Patrick, I checked out the link and I think that just might be crazy enough to work. I'll have to research it a little bit more, but I think this would be the answer. Thanks a lot to everyone for all your help and suggestions.
