I have heard that there are problems using immersion gold on PCBs when working with BGAs. Is this correct? Is white tin more suitable?

I haven't used that Loctite before as I've never printed adhesive, but you might try reheating the part with a hot air tool...it works pretty well with 3609.

i must be missing something, the HMP has 93.5% lead content but is RoHS compliant? How does that work?

Hi Slaine, Actually, HMP Leaded solder is not complient, it is exempt only when the specific application requires this temp. Sorry for the intrusion but I am working on something very similar currently. Thanks Chris

I wonder if anybody could spec a conformal coating or simalar application, to protect PCB's at 90% humidity. Standard HPA from electrolube does not work if the humidity is in excess of 75%. Cheers

I had to replace a failed hard drive on our Meridian 1030. After replacement the script is not running on start-up for the Vx works connection to the VME. Any help with the proper boot sequence would be appreciated.

Using Circuit Cam here. Not sure on the cost though. We use it to program our CS400E insertion machines as well. Makes nice work instruction drawings too.
