What are the specifications on the solder that you use? IE: Water soluble,RA,RMA, N/C? Also do you clean the boards and if so how and what detergent if any are you using?

You will have a lot of problems with spare parts, they came from Japan, also service will be very poor, depends on where you are located, where are you?

You may also want to investigate an Ionic contamination tester. You can check with Alpha, Westek or an equipment broker to find a used tester. If you switch to OA fluxes this will be an important test to perform on a regular basis.

Each dirver cards had affixed a definite label on the top side. you can notice them easily when you pull out the back lower drawer. Hope the information can help you.

Microwave? Try some steel wool next time. Are you cookin food in that microwave? I would love to see that documented into a process. You could look at changing the solder paste you use. Knead it up other than that mate.

Baking your boards will redue the amount of OSP on the board. If you use the boards quickly, you probably will not have a problem with baking [and don't bake too long]. Why do you want bake this board?

Dave, you�re probably looking for a bar-code tracking system. Mydata actually has this function built into their software. You can search by part number and it will tell you even across multiple machine if your share info.

Peter- If you have all of these machines in your factory, why are you asking what their throughput and tact time speeds are? You should know better than anyone.
