Flextronics to acquire Telcom Global Solutions

Flextronics International Ltd. said today it will acquire Telcom Global Solutions Inc., which provides network planning, design, and optimization services for telecommunications OEMs.

Telcom Global Solutions, Irving, Texas, will become part of Flextronics Network Services, a division of the Singapore -based EMS provider that provides global network installation and commissioning services. The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of the month. Financial terms were not discslosed.

Telcom Global Solutions is a privately-owned global provider of wireless network and RF consulting services for the wireless telecommunications industry. The company has about 225 employees across four regional operating units -- North America, Latin America, Europe/Middle East/Africa, and Asia/Pacific/India.
