Fast, Easy Solution Improves Quality and Productivity

The operating system will be introduced at the upcoming APEX 2006 in Anaheim, CA, February 8 to 10, 2006.
The Vision 2006 software suite is built on a modular architecture, allowing the selection of specific tools for specific applications bringing greater versatility. The platform employs several components, such as CAD data import, line quality
management tools, program optimization, repair tools and embedded or external SPC tools. The platform supports a wide range of applications, including post-print 2D/3D, pre-reflow, post-reflow, post-wave and backplane inspection.

Vision 2006 features ViTechnology�'s new user-friendly Match Maker tool. This library search engine is linked to an extensive standard library of Vectoral Imaging based models, which helps create programs in a timely, efficient manner. ViTechnology� frequently provides upgrades of the standard library to its customers. The library uses new, advanced vision algorithms.
The new operating system comes equipped with the field-proven Profilertm technology, which enhances post-reflow capabilities. The patent-pending Profilertm technology uses highly robust algorithms in combination with a custom-built, proprietary color lighting source to detect lifted leads, total or partial lack of solder, impurities and co-planarity defects better than multiple cameras systems.
Vision 2006 includes embedded real-time SPC tools and closed-loop solutions to provide advanced process control and improve the yield of manufacturing lines. In addition, ViTechnology� has developed VieWeb, an exclusive web-based data mining system. This powerful tool enables remote monitoring capability with automatic report generation. Reports are customizable and ensure 100% traceability, for analyzing root causes of defects.
