Each program is a three-day workshop consisting of refresher topics and course materials on the first two full days and examinations on the third day.
Both SMT Processes and SMT Systems will be offered from April 1 through 4 at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel in Anaheim, Calif. The SMT Processes curriculum (April 1 through 3) covers SMT Materials, SMT Components, Stencil Printing, Dispensing, Component Placement, Reflow Soldering, Wave Soldering, Test and Inspection, and Line Balancing. The SMT Systems curriculum (April 2 through 4) covers Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Problem Solving/Failure Analysis.
Both programs will be offered throughout 2003 over the following dates at the following locations: May 19 through 22 (St. Paul, Minn.); June 9 through 11 (Boston, Mass., in conjunction with SMTA Boston and NEPCON East); and September 22 through 25 (Chicago, Ill., in conjunction with SMTA International).
