ASC International Responds to VisionMaster’s Frivolous Claim to Product Infringement

Mar 31, 2014

ASC International, a leading manufacturer of 3-D solder paste inspection and automated optical inspection (AOI) systems, today announced that it has issued an official statement in response to the press release VisionMaster Inc. disseminated on March 24, 2014.

According to company officials: “ASC International will not allow random companies to report claims of product infringement based upon frivolous accusations against our company. VisionMaster’s unlawful attempt to harvest private information from ASC’s customer base by using a “Phishing” technique will not be tolerated. ASC International has never entered into any business relationship with this newly formed company and all claims associated with this undocumented press release should be considered malicious. ASC International will use every legal option available to protect its intellectual property and — most importantly — the privacy of our customers.”
