IPC RAISES D.C. PROFILE WITH MOVE TO PENNSYLVANIA AVE. New location in the heart of Washington, D.C.

Jan 17, 2014

IPC’s Government Relations and Environmental Policy office has moved to the heart of Washington, D.C. Its new address, 1331 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, is just blocks from both the White House and Capitol Hill, and near the offices of a number of IPC’s largest OEM (original equipment manufacturer) members. The move from Arlington, Va., dramatically raises the profile of IPC in the nation’s capital and signals the trade organization’s commitment to providing critical regulatory and legislative information and compliance assistance to its members.

Our new location gives us far greater visibility in Washington and makes a statement that IPC recognizes the importance of government relations,” said John Hasselmann, IPC vice president, government relations. “This move symbolizes our dedication to government outreach and advocacy on behalf of our members.”

IPC has maintained a presence in the D.C. area since 1991. With a staff of four full-time employees, the D.C. office is responsible for the development and implementation of the organization’s global advocacy efforts and policy agenda, working closely with IPC’s Government Relations Steering Committee to identify issues and other opportunities where IPC can take a global leadership role in protecting the interests of the electronics manufacturing industry. The office also oversees IPC’s environmental policy issues as well as regulations on materials such as conflict minerals.

IPC’s new D.C. office address and contact information is: 1331 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Suite 910, Washington, D.C., 20004; +1 202-661-8090 (tel); +1 202-292-4612 (fax).
