Chinese Venture is Effective Second Source

Feb 19, 2003

GSPK Circuits is taking courageous steps to bridge the missing "complete supply solution" service gap to benefit its customers by investing in a brand new Chinese venture.

The rapid pace with which the global electronics market has changed means that customers need a dynamic, cost effective and robust supply chain.

GSPK Circuits understands that and recognises that customers demand exceptional delivery performance, quality as an absolute given, technical and design support - and all at the lowest possible cost.

Since early 2002, customers have had access to GSPK's well established and approved Far East manufacturing partners.

As a further illustration of the company's commitment to providing the market's best service, GSPK Circuits is opening a sales and supply chain support office in Shanghai, China in March 2003.

The principal reason for this development is to enhance existing benefits; the reduction of product costs and administration and the still further reduction in lead times and guaranteed on time delivery.

The beauty of this development is that the Far East manufacturing service available is supported by local manufacture and experienced personnel based in Knaresborough so that required delivery dates are always honoured.

This effectively allows customers to have access to a dual source from one point of contact.

David Hunter, Sales Director, GSPK Circuits comments: "This advancement in service offering is both risk and hassle free for our customers.

We have the capabilities to manage all design, technical and supply requirements locally and the Far East link is then managed locally by experienced GSPK personnel.

We can offer you the skill and expertise available from the Far East but with the added benefit of the local touch, without the headache".
