The newest capabilities stem from PNC’s continuous improvement of capital equipment. Three capabilities to highlight are Conductor Width/Spacing, Finish System, and Aspect ratio. Under current qualification of Mil Spec, PNC’s commitment to quality has set a new standard. The Etch department can now etch a minimum conductor width of .003”/.003”. The addition of ENIG is now a ROHS alternative to HASL which is non ROHS. The Drilling/Plating department capabilities now include a 10:1 aspect ratio.

PNC Vice President Calvin Switzer states: “Over the past two years, we have invested nearly 2 million dollars in new Capital Equipment. The upgrades help us immensely to increase our manufacturing capabilities, not only for DOD applications, but also the commercial market. ”
