Diagnosys S500 Organization Achieves CMMI Maturity Level 3

Jun 17, 2014

Diagnosys, Inc. announces that the S500 Team has achieved a CMMI Maturity Level 3 rating of the CMMI Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). The appraisal was performed by Applied Engineering Management Corporation.

CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance.

An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a "defined" level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization's set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over time.

Diagnosys started using CMMI in 2011 as a framework for continuous improvement, time to market, product quality, and customer satisfaction. The consistent effort resulted in successfully achieving a rating of CMMI Maturity Level 3 during an appraisal in March.

"Applying the principals of CMMI has allowed us to define and document a set of standard procedures to ensure consistent performance within the S500 team," said Tim Webb, President, US Operations. "Achieving a Maturity Level 3 shows our Customers that we are dedicated to continuous improvement with our products and services."
