Kingston Technology Releases 6 in 1 USB Flash Card Reader

Kingston(R) Technology Co. Inc., today announced the immediate availability of a USB 6 in 1 Flash Card Reader.

Kingston's 6 in 1 Flash Card Reader is ideal for users of today's portable devices such as digital cameras, MP3 players and PDAs. The 6 in 1 reader's dual slots host CompactFlash(TM), Memory Stick(TM), Microdrive(TM), MultiMediaCard (MMC), SecureDigital (SD) and SmartMedia.

The flash card reader's dual slots act as two individual drives, allowing users to drag and drop files between digital media solutions and their system. As a stand-alone device powered by the USB port, Kingston's 6 in 1 reader is compatible with desktop PCs, notebooks and Macintosh(R) systems.

PC operating systems supported are Windows(R) 98, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Supported operating systems for Macintosh are Mac(R) OS 9 (9.0 - 9.22) and Mac OS X (10.1.2 or above).
