Kurtz Ersa’s Rework, Inspection & Tools Division Adds New Field Service Engineer

Kurtz Ersa North America, a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, today announced that it has hired a new field service engineer for the Rework, Inspection & Tools division. Effective immediately, Kris Smolarek supports Todd Dezwarte, Sales Manager – Rework, Inspection & Tools.

Smolarek compliments an already strong team and brings a diverse, global background in service. Chad Suckow, Kurtz Ersa Service Manager comments, “The addition of Kris will help us keep up with the growing service demands in this division.“

An experienced process technician and electrical assembler, Smolarek has a degree in electroincs and experience utilizing knowledge of electrical schematics to build and test equipment. He is mechanically proficient and is familiar with worldwide electrical codes (NEC, CSA, IEC).
