Coming off a highly successful global launch at Productronica in November, the MPM Edison printing system makes its North American debut at this year's Apex show.  As the next generation in printing technology, with patented features throughout its design, the Edison operates at twice the speed and with 25% more accuracy than other printers.  With an all new highly-efficient parallel processing stencil shuttle system, wiper, vision gantry, the Edison is capable of reducing your total cycle time by as much as 15 seconds as compared to competitive printers (includes stencil wipe and printing).

Best-in-Class Solutions on Display

In addition, Speedline will host on-going demonstrations throughout APEX of its:

Camalot® Prodigy™ SD Dispenser

The Camalot Prodigy SD dispenser employs breakthrough innovations to enable higher processing speeds, more precise dispense accuracies, and tighter tolerances. Prodigy SD is a high performance machine which offers an impressive XY dot placement accuracy of +/- 35 microns @3 sigma at full system speed for an unmatched level of performance.  Flexible and configurable, the Prodigy SD will be equipped with the high speed jetting pump NanoShot, with jetting speeds up to 600 Hz.

MPM Momentum® Elite

Our high-performance Momentum® Elite printer will be featuring the unique OpenApps open software architecture. Open Apps is a portal to the emerging Industry 4.0 ‘Smart Factory’ vision. OpenApps creates new communication possibilities for easy two-way communication between the printer and, for example, the user’s own in-house Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Speedline is the first and only SMT equipment company to offer an open software architecture and all of the creative and process improvement possibilities that it brings.

PrinTrack which is also being featured, focuses on printing process parameters, solder paste and tooling, but can also seamlessly integrate with other equipment and elements in the manufacturing cycle. PrinTrack harvests data from the printer, including assembly part number, work order number, panel ID and other barcode information.

NEW:  Electrovert’s OmniES+™ 5, 7, 10, & 13 Zone Reflow

Utilizing patented IsoThermal™ chamber technology, Electrovert’s OmniES+™ series with full convection reflow offers board assembly producers the optimum balance between thermal process capability and equipment.  Other OmniES+™ advantages includes independent blower control in each heating and cooling zone, uses up to 36% less power than competitive systems, patented dripless cooling,  and closed loop N2 control capable of maintaining inert atmospheres of <50 ppm.

NEW:  Electrovert’s VectraES™ Wave Soldering System

The new VectraES™ is rated as best in value, technology, performance, and reliability.  Innovative technologies include: the UltraFill™ wave nozzle design capable of changing between Air and N2 by recipe, precision selective fluxing, convection and IR preheat available in any position and/or location, and a new full N2 tunnel feature.

NEW:  Electrovert’s Aquastorm™ 60 In-line Cleaning System

Looking for a robust in-line cleaner with complete cleaning performance capability in a small footprint?  Electrovert will be exhibiting the new Aquastorm™ 60 in-line cleaning system.  Features include all stainless steel construction and plumbing, mixed spray technologies for maximum process capability, field proven reliability, and all in less than a 7’ footprint!

NEW:  Electrovert’s Aquastorm™ 50 Batch Cleaning System

The Aquastorm™ 50 batch cleaner utilizes Dynamic direct impingement technologies for low stand-off cleaning, and multiple Jet Impact Cleaning (JIC) sprays that create a web of omni-directional dynamic energy.  A new fluid delivery system delivers 25% more flow in the wash and rinse cycles to reduce cycle times.   The Torrid Zone drying power is capable of drying complex board assemblies to within .1g of the prewash weight.
