Apr 13, 2015 Warm congratulations on the 25th anniversary of NEPCON China, an event organized by Reed Exhibitions! The Tianjin SMT Committee also extends its heartfelt commendations on the 30th anniversary of the introduction of SMT to China!
Since 1985, China has developed a strong SMT industry with technology continuing to mature. As an EMS player that procures and uses SMT equipment, we have come to NEPCON China nearly 20 times and have not missed a single event since 2000.
We attach great importance to participating in this show and have gained a lot from being here. Onsite, we learn about equipment, devices, materials, processes and technologies. We have purchased welding tools, refurbished workstations, ICT test equipment, AOI and SPI test equipment, ESD equipment, wave soldering tools, screen printing machines, SMT production lines and more.
We have also concluded deals worth over RMB 100 million. The machines we’ve bought play a key role in the development of civil and military electronics, production and infrastructure buildup. We thank NEPCON China for being such a great platform where buyers and exhibitors can benefit from in-depth exchange, access up-to-date information and assess cutting-edge technologies.
As the Tianjin SMT committee, we join other committees across the country in supporting NEPCON China. Electronics manufacturing is a pillar industry in both Tianjin and the Bohai Economic Rim. The industry is undergoing a period of accelerated development, thanks to favorable national policies. Today, Tianjin boasts nearly 1,000 electronics development and production companies, from state-owned, private, foreign-investment and joint-venture backgrounds. These businesses have huge demand.
Tianjin SMT committee’s mission is to serve companies by providing a platform of exchange and learning. We aim to set up a regional SMT community that enhances learning and technological exchange, and also promotes training of SMT professionals to improve their management and technical capacity. We are going to promote modern management best practices, processes, equipment and technologies locally and internationally; while helping firms to organize personnel training according to actual needs. All these efforts are in perfect alignment with the NEPCON event.
