BPM Microsystems To Showcase Enhanced 7th Generation Product Line at APEX 2008

Mar 19, 2008

HOUSTON March 2008 BPM Microsystems, a leading supplier of device programming systems worldwide, will exhibit its device programmer family, the Enhanced 7th Generation device programmers, in booth 2245 at the upcoming APEX 2008 exhibition and conference, scheduled to take place April 1-3, 2008, in Las Vegas.

Featuring USB 2.0 communications interface and support for devices with densities up to 4 Gigabits, the Enhanced 7th Generation was developed to meet the new technological requirements of the programming industry.

This product reaffirms our position as the leader in the universal device programmer market, said Lyman Brown, executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Earlier BPM Micro programmer models use a parallel port to communicate from the host PC to the programmer. With a high-speed USB 2.0 standard bus, communication speeds are increased and greater reliability is provided. On-board memory was increased to address with the industry trend of higher density semiconductor devices.

The Enhanced 7th Generation programmer models 1710, 2710, 2710M, 4710, 4710-M, 3710MK2 and 3710MK2-M will replace the existing 7th Generation product line.
