Helms worked as Regional Sales Manager for P. D. Circuits for three years and most recently held the title of National Sales Manager. He has 31 years experience in the electronics industry, starting out as a PCB designer. Joe later moved into PCB purchasing and has spent the last 16 years in PCB sales.

Helms has been active in the IPC and SMTA. He has co-published an IPC Tech Paper on
G, D & T and presented at the IPC Design Session. Joe’s background also includes studies in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the Triangle Institute of Technology and Gannon University.
