Christopher Associates Inc. today announced that it will sponsor presentations given by noted industry expert Chrys Shea on ways to improve the stencil printing process, a key factor in the profitability of a circuit assembly operation, this week at the SMTA Houston Chapter Meeting and Austin Expo & Tech Forum.
Matt Holzmann, President of Christopher Associates, explains the company’s involvement: “Reduced defects and improved manufacturing yields go directly to the bottom line. We are committed to helping both our customers and our industry maintain a competitive edge in this global economy, and sharing knowledge through the SMTA is an extremely effective way to do that.”
In Houston on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, Chrys will present a newly released study on stencil materials, manufacturing methods and coatings. At the Austin Expo & Tech Forum on November 10, she will present a collection of case studies about how printing processes have been improved quickly and easily by using the analytical capabilities of automated solder paste inspection systems.
As a part of Christopher’s commitment to helping North American electronics manufacturers maintain a competitive advantage, the company has engaged several of the industry’s top experts to deliver leading-edge process and technology resources and information. Chrys commented, “I have been working with Christopher to identify practical solutions for several years now, and I am proud to be part of a team that understands the importance of sharing their knowledge.” Christopher sponsored Shea’s presentations at 10 industry events in 2011 and has more planned for 2012.
Martin Gershenson, Christopher’s General Manager, said, “We understand that our success as an organization is based purely upon how well we help our customers succeed. That is why we will continue to develop competitive solutions, both in anticipation of the future’s technology demands that we foresee and in response to today’s questions that our customers ask.”
