Libra Industries is excited to announce the latest upgrades to its surface mount technology (SMT) capabilities at its Dallas, Texas facility. These enhancements are designed to meet the rigorous demands of industries such as aerospace, medical, and industrial manufacturing, reinforcing Libra’s dedication to high-quality, high-volume electronics production.

New equipment at the Dallas facility includes:

  • JUKI G-Titan Screen Printer: Delivers precise solder paste application and stencil aperture inspection, ensuring superior soldering results.
  • Omron VP9000 3D SPI Equipment: Provides detailed, highly accurate solder paste volume analysis, reducing defects and improving reliability.
  • JUKI LX-8 Placement Machines (x3): Capable of placing components with exceptional speed (up to 105,000 CPH) and precision, ideal for quick production runs.
  • Heller 1826 MK5 Reflow Oven: Nitrogen-capable, ensuring consistent thermal profiles for soldering.
  • Omron VT-S730 3D AOI: Uses advanced 3D imaging and multi-optical cameras to ensure IPC-compliant process monitoring and defect detection.
