The newest version of GOEPEL electronic's AOI system software features a special highlight. An integrated debug statistics captures AOI relevant variations in the production process and provides them for statistical evaluations. Hence, OptiCon series AOI systems enable a highly effective and convenient optimisation of generated test programs. Increased false call rates, originated in process tolerances or component variations, can be directly counter measured.

The software package OptiCon PILOT 5.1 visualises all relevant AOI parameters as well as their process variations, and enables a convenient limit value adaptation by graphical user actions. In addition to inspection safety, the software’s utilisation results in economic benefits such as significant time reductions during transferring generated test programs to the production process.

GOEPEL electronic’s OptiCon systems can be applied for Automated Optical Inspection of assembled PCBs before as well as after the soldering process. Depending on application, stand-alone and in-line versions are available for various quality assurance requirements in the production of PCBs
