Lightning Circuits and Tappenden & Co Ltd. Announce partnership

New North American Company that specializes in Metal Circuit Production and Technology

Andrew Grisbrooke, Operations Director for Tappenden & Co Limited (TCL Group) and Rob Jeysman, President of Lightning Circuits have announced a new partnership between DK Thermal Ltd., a division of Tappenden & Co Ltd., and Lightning Circuits. The new company will be called DK Thermal (Canada) Ltd.

The new company, located in St Catharines, will specialize in Metal Circuit Production and Technology producing high technology metal core printed circuit boards often referred to as MPCBS, MCB,IMPCB, IMS or Aluminum Boards, used in a number of fast growing technologies including LED lighting, power, and automotive. Lightning Circuits will continue to produce more traditional printed circuit boards out of the same facility.

Commenting on the new venture Grisbrooke said, “We are delighted to now have a manufacturing facility on North America. We have done very well with our facilities in Asia and Europe and now with this St Catharine’s facility we will be able to provide our customers with a truly global solution. We have been selling our MPCBS in North America for the past several years with the intention of opening up local manufacturing when the time was right. And the right time is now.
