ADLINK Introduces Embedded Design Services to EMEA Region

May 11, 2015

Customer-specific carrier board and fully custom design services reduce customer development costs and shorten time-to-market.

ADLINK Technology, a leading global provider of cloud-based services, intelligent gateways, and embedded building blocks for edge devices that enable the Internet of Things (Iota), today announced availability of its new A+ Services offering to address the complete development process of carrier boards for a variety of form factors. Capabilities available in the new package include full custom designs, software, and system integration from concept to mass production.

ADLINK’s extensive experience developing computer-on-modules (COMs) and carrier boards ensures the highest quality standards and shortest delivery time for custom development. With ADLINK’s A+ Services, carrier board development projects will be completed in less than six months – from concept to mass production. Development processes will be pooled in ADLINK’s Mannheim Design Center, where carrier boards are developed under the latest specifications, regardless of architecture.

With A+ Services, ADLINK is able to respond to the growing demand for perfectly tailored solutions for highly diverse applications,” said Dirk Finstel, CEO of ADLINK Technology’s European Headquarters. “In addition to supporting newer standards such as SMARC®, our Mannheim design Center also supports carrier boards for COM Express®, Qseven® and ETX®, and the many other form factors in our product portfolio.

Outfitted with the latest technical equipment, ADLINK’s test labs ensure conformity with form factor specifications, as well as environmental and regulatory standards. Special compliance tests, including power and signal integrity, thermal simulation, and mechanical stress tests, are performed in company-owned labs to verify and optimize designs.

To streamline development processes and ensure the highest quality, ADLINK follows well-established guidelines. A proven six-step process efficiently transforms a customer order into a volume-ready product to be assembled on ADLINK’s latest SMT production lines. And, beyond hardware development, ADLINK addresses life-cycle management throughout the entire service life of the product and manages all required resources.
