Scheugenpflug recently celebrated its new Kennesaw offices with a grand opening event
The company designs processes and robotic machines that mix and apply adhesives for a variety of manufacturers including those in the automotive, electronics, telecommunications, medical and chemical industries.
Kennesaw, April 10, 2019: Founder Erich Scheugenpflug started the company as a one-man operation in a garage in Germany, equipped with a drawing board, a milling machine, and a lathe. The company headquartered in Neustadt/Donau has since become a global player with subsidiaries on three continents.
Scheugenpflug USA was established in 2007 in Kennesaw to service the company’s growing customer base in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. It is the company's only U.S. location.
As the company’s presence grew in Kennesaw it leased additional office spaces in the area. Wednesday’s grand opening was the result of the consolidation of those separate office spaces.
At the new location at 1000 Cobb Place Blvd NW Suite 514 Scheugenpflug conducts dispensing and application tests with the latest adhesives and potting materials. The showroom exhibits various machines, metering heads, and LED displays the company uses in the adhesive application process.
Scheugenpflug’s new facility provides space to fit their current demands, but also leaves room for further expansion of its 21-person workforce to an expected 25 by the end of the year.
