Kyzen, a world leading provider of environmentally responsible precision cleaning products for electronics and high-technology manufacturing operations, announces that Jack Reinke, Southeastern Regional Sales Manager, will moderate the panel discussion titled “What’s New in Electronic Assembly Cleaning” at the upcoming Space Coast Expo and Tech Forum. The panel discussion is scheduled to take place Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the Melbourne Auditorium in Melbourne, FL.
The panel of industry experts will discuss cleaning in the era of no-clean and lead-free electronics assembly. The discussion will review the evolution of cleaning technologies since the Clean Air Act in 1990 started banning ozone-depleting solvents to the various aqueous, semi-aqueous and modern-day vapor phase replacement cleaners currently available. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with experts about the chemical side of electronics cleaning, along with industry users who have instituted aqueous batch and in-line processes for all SMT assembly cleaning, including complete flux removal beneath extremely low stand-off, surface mounted components.
Panelists include Ms. Linda Woody, Engineering Manager at Lockheed Martin in Ocala, FL; Kyzen company co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Dr. Mike Bixenman; Harris M&P Lab Director Dr. Carlyn Smith; and Sales Engineer John Niederman, Speedline Corporation, manufacturers of the popular Aquastorm® line of aqueous in-line spray cleaners.
