Nihon Superior (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Nihon Superior Co. Ltd., completed 10 years of successful service in October 2010. The major milestone was celebrated in an event held in the Dusit Thani Hotel in Bangkok on August 6, 2011.
Despite being held during the busy Japanese summer vacation season and the time when Thai companies conduct their staff reviews, approximately 70 people attended the celebration. Guests of honor were the local directors of major Japanese manufacturers supplied by Nihon Superior Thailand, and Nihon Superior’s global network was represented by staff from regional offices.
In his welcome speech to guests, Managing Director of Nihon Superior Thailand Hideaki Yamabe spoke of the factors that he felt had been important to the company’s success over the past 10 years: The high reliability of the products, their cost-effectiveness and the persistent efforts of the staff. The result was that Nihon Superior’s lead-free solder SN100C® achieved great market penetration that he expects to continue to increase in the future.
In expressing his thoughts and aspirations, Mr. Yamabe continued, “Despite our success, there is no room for complacency. We strive to give our customers even better service to maintain the high regard in which Nihon Superior Thailand is held by its customers.”
Nihon Superior was founded in 1966 when it began marketing unique flux products imported from the US. The company made its mark on society by gathering the most advanced soldering and brazing technologies and products from around the world, and supplying them to companies in the metal-joining industry. A turning point for the company came when it started developing its own soldering materials and with the success of its unique SN100C lead-free solder alloy Nihon Superior has become a major player in the global market. To support the growing demand for its products Nihon Superior has established manufacturing and sales centers in Japan, China and other Asian countries and formed business partnerships with companies in other markets.
