The 2011 Award Signifies Cognex’s Dedication to Machine Vision
Cognex Corporation (NASDAQ: CGNX), the world’s leading supplier of machine vision systems, announces that it has won its seventh consecutive Control Design Readers Choice Award in the category of Machine Vision System.
Now in its 19th year, Control Design Magazine’s Readers Choice Awards are based solely on reader surveys. In a series of unaided (a dropdown list of suppliers or product brands were not included) questions, readers are invited to respond to surveys based on the solutions providers they work with regularly, and to name one company that they perceive provides the best value in each of the categories listed. Control Design not only surveys the print magazine’s readers, but also subscribers to its digital media outlets: e-mail newsletters, webinars, podcasts, etc. The 2011 awards represent the collective opinion of more than 1,000 automation professionals. More than 100 process automation technologies are represented in the surveys.
“We are pleased to have earned another Readers Choice Award,” said Ron Pulicari, Marketing Manager. “This award validates our constant goal to consistently provide exceptional products and customer service.”
This is the 11th win for Cognex since 2001, with seven awards for first place wins and four for second place.
