Seika Machinery, Inc., a leading provider of advanced machinery, materials and engineering services, announces that Michelle Ogihara, Seika’s Senior Sales Manager and SMTA Director, will host the Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) Women’s Leadership Connection Reception, on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 5 p.m. in meeting room 101 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, TX before the start of SMTA International.
“This reception is one of the few opportunities where women in the industry can connect with one another and exchange experiences in a fun setting. We hope that as many ladies as possible can join us,” commented Ogihara.
This year marks the second annual SMTA Women’s Leadership Connection Reception. Last year’s reception was the first event that Ogihara helped to host since being appointed to the Board of Directors of the SMTA. The wine and cheese reception provides women in the industry with an opportunity to get to know one another in a relaxed environment.
The SMTA membership is an international network of professionals that build skills, share practical experience and develop solutions in electronics assembly technologies, including microsystems, emerging technologies and related business operations.
