Its superior test yield and long probe life results in significant cost of test advantages.
Quad Tech™ uses a barrel-less architecture with four continuously engaged internal contact points. This design leads to excellent electrical and mechanical characteristics. Quad Tech™ features high current capabilities, high bandwidth and low inductance. Mechanically, Quad Tech™ offers a large compliance window to accommodate stack height tolerances.
The design of Quad Tech™ allows Multitest to apply a unique, extremely precise manufacturing process that also provides excellent plating quality. This process ensures long probe life, long cleaning intervals and a favorable probe replacement cost for all contactors based on Quad Tech™.
Currently, Multitest offers Mercury™, Gemini™ and Gemini™ Kelvin based on Quad Tech™.
