The first stop of the SIPLACE SX 2012 North American Road Show will be in New England, from May 14th to 18th with their partner Precision Automation. The SIPLACE team will show just how fast and easy the SX Platform will be able to simplify your manufacturing challenges. During private demonstrations visitors will be able to see for themselves the ultimate flexibility of SIPLACE random feeder set up combined with the highly flexible Multistar head. Live gantry exchange, offline vision and new productivity enhancing software will be additional focus points.
As showcased earlier this year at APEX 2012, SIPLACE’s hugely successful SX platform was designed to simplify the ever more complex challenges facing today’s electronics manufacture. The SX is built ground up to eliminate any hardware constraints found in other SMT equipment. It combines state-of-the-art hardware with a new generation of industry leading interfaces and programming tools, meeting the needs of both high volume and high mix manufacturers. The SIPLACE Sicluster Software easily creates family set ups and reduces changeovers. It assists the user with “Hot Job Management” and Production. For New Product Introductions (NPI), First Article Build can be performed in a virtual environment without having to stop on line production and therefore saving valuable time. The SX hardware and software will support the most unique requirements in terms of Changeover and Production Set Up, while production itself becomes easy to understand through user interfaces and self help animations. Hardly any need for maintenance is another special feature of the SX, and for scheduled check ups the task becomes quick and easy to perform.
