Carlsbad, CA – May 3, 2012: Machine Vision Products (MVP), a leader in Automated Optical Inspection, will be demonstrating both their latest cost effective Supra E AOI systems and the new DPC Lite at SMT Nuremberg in Germany from May 8th to May 10th.
As leaders in price and performance AOI, MVP has demonstrated a high degree of adaptability of their systems throughout 19 years of service to the industry. MVP will be exhibiting booth 7-346 in Hall 7.
The Supra E provides customers with the best cost to performance ratio for any AOI system. Capable of inspecting boards of up to 508x508mm, the system utilizes MVP’s latest ease-of-use software and includes options for automatic database generation from a variety of input sources without the need for 3rd party data translators. As with all of MVP’s inline SMT focused AOI solutions, the Supra E comes standard with a true 10 micron pixel resolution for inspection of components as small as 01005, with full solder inspection. In addition, MVP supports sub-pixel algorithms with proven performance in demanding metrology applications.
The Supra E is also configured with MVP’s latest 5.4 software release encompassing the end to end ease of use software tools for rapid database programming, the unique validated performance wizard, as well as MVP’s intuitive iRepair software.
DPC Lite is a new product from MVP and allows for rapid AOI performance tuning and correlation of quality reporting data, allowing users to realize the full potential of their AOI equipment from the very first PCB inspected.
In addition MVP will also be demonstrating their Microelectronics application toolbox for customers who require complex AOI solutions.
