Juki Automation Systems, a world-leading provider of automated assembly products and systems and part of Juki Corporation, announces that leading EMS provider and longtime Juki customer NBS (www.nbscorp.com) recently updated two lines at its Santa Clara, CA facility with GL Screen Printers. NBS has a total of five Juki lines with pending orders to retrofit its remaining three Juki lines with new GL Screen Printers, making Juki’s screen printers the standard at NBS.

This investment perpetuates our philosophy of valuing common equipment sets and continuity in partnerships,” said Michael Maslana, President & CEO of NBS. “We all recognize the critical  relationship of solder paste application to product quality and reliability. Our extensive research into every available system on the market and three months in service evaluation led us to the clear conclusion that Juki, once again, delivers the most in overall performance and cost. NBS’ unique approach to providing NPI services has long set the standard by which all other EMS companies are measured. This is precisely why we enjoy such a large, diverse customer base, and continue to attract new engagements from throughout the US marketplace.”

Bob Black, President & CEO of Juki Automation Systems, stated, “We, at Juki, are delighted that our friends and longtime customers at NBS have selected the Juki/GKG GL Stencil Printers for their production lines. NBS builds very demanding, quick turn assemblies for their customers in Silicon Valley and beyond.  They were the first Juki customer in the United States to place 01005 components, and the complexity of the boards they build puts great demand on their processes every day.  The high accuracy and reliability of the GL will enable NBS to continue to provide the high quality for which they are well known. We thank them for their continued confidence in choosing Juki to fill this need.”

Founded in 1999 as a PCB design company, NBS delivers a wide variety of leading-edge services in PCB design, end-to-end manufacturing, test and verification. NBS caters to a large and diverse customer base and excels at providing designs, consultative technical advice and support that abbreviates the development process.  The company is ANSI/ESD S20.20 – 2007, ISO9000-2001, Lead-Free/RoHS Compliant, ISO 13485, ITAR and AS9100 certified. The GL Fully Automatic Screen Printer uses a patented mathematical calculating algorithm to ensure the machine’s high accuracy print alignment that easily achieves 01005 (0402 metric) printing. Additionally, the system features a patented PCB Flexible Auto Clamp (FAC) system and Stencil Position Memory (SPM) function for easy and quick changeover.
