M.E. Baker Company announces FY 2013 first quarter equipment sales to Goodrich Corporation, Northrop-Grumman, and Hutchinson Technology for automated etching and deburring processes. Additional equipment sales to The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (“CNSE”) of the University at Albany-State University of New York, ATMI, Greene Lyon Group, and others contribute to an active first quarter for the company.
CNSE recently acquired a 1,200 UPH Baker Solar FlexTool to be installed in New York State while ATMI and Greene Lyon purchased inline e-waste recycling tools from Baker.
“Customers’ capex is shoring up nicely in 2013 as investments in needed technological infrastructure commence,” says Baker President Eric Roiter. “We expect this trend to continue through at least 2014.”
The U.S. company is an OEM of batch and inline wet process equipment and has been manufacturing wet process equipment across a wide range of industries for more than 90 years. In 2006, Baker acquired MEI, a global leader in inline wet process tools with more than 350 tools installed worldwide.
