Apr 12, 2013 The ‘Component Locator search facility has been designed to enhance the customer experience by providing access to Vigilant’s extensive database at their own convenience, 24/7. The process works by the customer inputting either a full or partial part number of a known component, the system will then search through its extensive database and report back in real time, providing the customer with instant access to specific data such as quantity of units available and descriptions. The system then allows customers to input how many parts are required and other relevant information. This in turn raises an RFQ which is automatically emailed to members of the Vigilant team who will respond back with formal quotations and delivery times.
The service also enables customers to select from Vigilants’ wide range of industry-leading services for component inspection, verification and counterfeit detection.
