Kurtz Ersa North America, a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, is pleased to announce that Red Rock Reps will highlight its complete product line at the SMTA Rocky Mountain Expo Tech Forum, scheduled to take place Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at the West Club at Mile High Stadium in Denver, CO. Red Rock Reps will discuss the complete Ersa product line, including the HR 600 hybrid rework system and ECOSELECT 1.
The HR 600 is equipped with a highly dynamic and efficient heating technology with the bottom-side heating (2,400 W) divided into three independent heating zones. The newly developed hybrid top-side emitter provides 800 W of heating power and combines the advantages of infrared heating with those of a convection heater. In order to thermally control the rework process, the HR 600 uses proven closed-loop technology. The component temperature is measured and can be controlled exactly. With the HR 600, non-contact temperature measurement is even more precise due to a digital infrared sensor (pyrometer).
The ECOSELECT 1 requires less than 3 m² of space, allowing it to fit optimally into cell production environments. In all process steps the semiautomatic ECOSELECT 1 system uses the same successful and proven Ersa selective soldering technology as the large Ersa VERSAFLOW systems without compromising quality or accuracy. The high precision servo gantry system, and electromagnetic pumping system, together with top- and bottom-side preheating, provides the highest capability and best repeatability.
